Introduction to catgut-embedding

Catgut embedding is an special acupunture technique, actually a further development of the traditional accupunture techniques, a mixture of the traditional & modern curing methods.

Prior to these exercise, local anesthetization had to used with Novocain or Lidocain 1-2%. The procedure was complex as it was a small surgery.Applicability of this method was also limited for a few diseases. It was not applicable for example when the patient was too weak or for children. Severe pain and inflammation were usually occurred as side effects.
